About us
Relax, it's Turtle time.
A restaurant and cocktail bar for slow mornings, long lunches and evenings that run late.
Named after Aruba's most relaxed locals
Sea turtles take their time, and so should you. That's the whole idea behind The Lazy Turtle: a place in the middle of busy Palm Beach where nobody rushes you, the cocktails are cold and the kitchen cooks everything with care.
You'll find us in the open-air courtyard of Paseo Herencia Mall, under string lights and palms, next to a big painted sea turtle that has starred in a lot of family photos. Guests come for breakfast in swimwear cover-ups and come back for dinner dressed up. Both are exactly right.

The kitchen
A little Caribbean, a lot of everywhere
Our menu is a map of the people who cook it. There's fresh catch of the day and Caribbean-spiced Island Shrimp, a Kenyan Rabai Tribe recipe for smoky Kuvuta Kuku, grouper smoked in banana leaf, Thai red-curry Pad Thai and Indonesian saté with peanut sauce made in-house.
Next to that: steaks with Merlot herb butter, slow-cooked ribs and pastas that can all be made gluten-free. Vegetarian guests get a full Garden Paradise section of their own.

The team
Service with a smile, and a name
Read our reviews and you'll see it: guests remember their servers by name. We like it that way.
